There is a website that you all headcovering ladies need to know about. It is called the headcovering movement. It was created by a man named Jeremy who is a huge supporter of covering one's head. Here is the link. It has articles, quotes, pictures and more! The Head Covering Movement | Biblical. Beautiful. Relevant PhotobucketPhotobucket

Hello everyone! I finally got a laptop! So now I can update regularly. Let's see. What's new with me. For one, I live in a homeless shelter. I don't know if that's new to you but if not, it's a reminder. It's not too bad in the shelter. I can come and go as I please and get healthy meals. I also have been into reading the Bible more. I have learned to trust God thru all of my trials and circumstances. Just because you aren't where you want to be in life, doesn't mean He abandoned you or anything. He is always with you. You must always have faith. Now I'm still covering my head, still going to a Mennonite church. I haven't officially become a member yet because I'm not 100% sure I want to be a member in that particular church. Don't get me wrong, I love the church. And I love everyone in it, but there are a few things that I don't agree with. Like them not using the King James Version of the Bible, and them not submerging for baptisms. Small things like that. Anywhoo, here is an updated picture of me, my children and in the back, my parents. photo 3B9E60CB-5093-4A98-B5D9-22EDF632D5F9-369-0000002382224EDD_zps6751e3f0.jpg PhotobucketPhotobucket

Cabin living

Well I went camping this weekend to Trout Run,three hours north of Reading. It was my first time camping, and I had so much fun. The great outdoors, the fresh air, everything was so peaceful. We ate mountain pies for breakfast and lunch and dinner. I went with a family from church, and they were very, very nice to me. I even ate marshmallows over a fire. They found a baby bird on the ground. It's mother was flittering all around us. After we looked at it we put it back on the ground. The nest was too high up for us to get to.

Snip Snip

Well today, I'm in the surgery ward of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. My 8 year old son is getting circumcised at a hospital where the acronym is CHOP! What? An 8 year old? Yes. He has phimosis of the penis. That is when the foreskin won't pull back.

http://menshealth.about.com/cs/embarrassments/a/phimosis.htm Circumcision is not the only way to treat phimosis, but it was what's best for MY family. They tried to circumcise him when he was a baby, but his foreskin was too tight to successfully do it. So here we are again, trying to get it done. The doctors here are really great, they did everything they could to make us and my son feel comfortable. Saying goodbye to him as they rolled him out was heartbreaking. He is to come out of it in about 45 minutes to an hour. I have no worries, i have God on my side and people's prayers at my back.
photo 737650_girl_with_a_cat_.jpg Other than that, things have been pretty normal around here (As normal as normal can be under my branch of life). Till I talk to you soon. Oh and remind me, I found some pictures of tichels I'd like to share that i thought were wonderfully feminine and would complement any woman. PhotobucketPhotobucket
